Life doesn't always turn out like we planned. How we respond to the hard parts and what God does in the middle of the story can literally define who we are and how God will be reflected in our lives.
We often talk about how we must rejoice when we face trials, but we have few examples of those who are actually doing it. I would like to invite you to take a few minutes and read the story of someone who is doing it. It will be well worth your time.
The following is an excellent blog post (filled with beautiful pictures) of one family's journey through the early days of discovering that their newborn child didn't turn out like they had planned. It is an excellent testimony of the value of ALL life and the beauty of God's creation.
