Why Abstinence Pledges Fail
If you've been around me even a short amount of time, you know that I'm a fan of Mark Gungor. While I don't agree with every single thing he says, I think that his blunt, no-nonsense approach to a lot of marriage and family issues is extremely refreshing. It's why we have decided to bring him to Johnson Ferry for his "Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage" event in late November.
On his blog, he posted his thoughts on why abstinence pledges have such a poor track record. He suggests that it's not a problem with the pledge, but with the parent. Read his thoughts below...
